Canadian racing world and the fans in general hate this country's racing scene..... this makes no sense at all..................

Jordan Szoke was the most important Canadian motorcycle racer of 2009, according to readers of Inside Track, who've named him their racer of the year for the second year in a row.

Szoke won the Parts Canada Superbike Championship and the Yoshimura Pro Sport Bike Championship for Kawasaki last year, and he's no stranger to the No. 1 plate, having worn it on his superbike three times previously. However, he currently does not have a contract to ride for the 2010 season. Kawasaki has farmed out its road-racing effort and only one rider, up-and-comer Alex Welsh, will ride the green bike in the Canadian Superbike series.

Szoke was presented with the award at the Canadian Motorsports Expo in Toronto on the weekend.
He has six Canadian national road racing championships, equalling Steve Crevier's record.

I agree Mike. It's a real shame. Jordan should be there to defend his title. So Kawasaki doesn't have the money but now the opportunity is there for another competitive make to supply him a bike.
Alex may put a green machine on the podium but it will be a hollow victory without Jordan there.
Ontario Suzuki dealers should finance Jordan's own Team to compliment Clint Mcbains effort.
And where is Honda "Powerhouse"? All those 125 riders will be ready to step up to the next level but they will chose GXSR's because they know they are competitive. The CBRR is supposed to be good but we just won't believe it until we see it on the track.
Give one to Steve Crevier . He will put it on the podium even if the bike doesn't deserve it.
Thats a podium I want to see. Francis Martin, Jordan Zsoke, and Steve Crevier and all the rest right there keeping them honest.
And while I rant about Honda, Find some money to get Michel Duhamel up to Canada for at least some of the races.
Don't let 2010 be a washout.
